WHO WE ARE
Dr. Michael Tiu graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Science, and then a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1992. Initially, he worked in Fort Nelson, BC for the first 2 years, and then subsequently opened his dental clinic in 1994 at the Old Orchard Shopping Centre on Kingsway avenue in Burnaby. As his practice grew, he built and moved into his current location in 2018.
Dr. Tiu is personally involved in all phases of dental care for his patients. He has been a member of numerous dental study clubs focusing on Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Implants, and Orthodontics. If there are cases which he feels may be outside the range of his expertise, he will readily refer those patients to dental specialists for treatment.
Dr. Tiu lives in Burnaby and is happily married. He has two sons who are both attending university.
